Kawasaki H1E Complete Nut and Bolt Restoration NOW SOLD

This Kawasaki H1E was produced in April 1974. Covering Just 14,677 miles , it has done just 32 miles shakedown miles since a complete nut and bolt restoration by my friend John.

As you can see by the photographs, despite the bike’s low mileage it was in a poor state when John purchased the machine.
A small fortune has been spent in making the bike truly wonderful as it is today.

The exhausts, have been re-chromed as have the handlebars, grab rail, mudguards and the correct Tagasako date-stamped wheel rims.

All paintwork is new including the frame general cycle parts and of course the wonderful candy red tank, side panels and tailpiece.

The engine has been completely rebuilt with a Gary Clark crankshaft rebuild, carburettor clean and service, vapour blasted, ultrasonically cleaned and a new ignition system fitted.

All the wiring has been replaced too.

We helped John finalise at the end of the engine build, with new pistons and having the barrels re-bored.

New tyres and tubes are fitted and the seat has been recovered with the correct metal trim on the side

Overall, this bike is in staggering condition it is in one of the best available.
