The Kawasaki KH400 is generally regarded as the best of all Kawasaki 2 stroke triples.
Being more powerful than the 250 but not as brutal as the 500 this model offers exciting performance whilst being smooth and manageable at the same time.
This particular bike has seen some restoration work previously, to standard specification, and has the benefit of retaining the original exhausts which are stamped KH 400.
A test ride shows that this bike was smooth responsive and quick.
The bike was registered in 1980 which makes it quite a late model but everything is correct including the tagasago date stamped rims.
A quick glance and the MOT history show that the machine has covered just a few miles per year so the mileage could be genuine. This is just my opinion but it may be the case.
The paint work is excellent, as is the chrome and this is a genuine UK bike don’t forget.
We have stripped and rebuilt the carbs and also the oil pump. A new front brake master cylinder has also been fitted by us.
Machines in as good condition as this one are now getting increasingly more difficult to find.
