You can see from the invoice that the new owner, Mr Glass, did part exchange his 1975 GT 550 in the sale so he was a dyed in the wool Suzuki enthusiast!

Since Mr Glasson purchased the bike it’s had quite an interesting history.
The owner went to America to work and couldn’t be parted from his bike, so took it with him and registered it in Illinois. The American plate comes with the bike.
When the gentleman returned to the UK, he brought his beloved Suzuki back with him. But this is not an American import! It is a genuine UK machine.
The bike has had some sympathetic restoration work carried out, just 20 miles ago, which involves a full mechanical strip down and rebuild.
The bike has covered just 12,833 miles and has old mot’s to prove.
