Very occasionally, a motorbike comes along that I really really really like. This Suzuki T350 rebel is just such a machine and I’ve been riding it for close to a year now! Why do I like it so much? Because it is very presentable, very original and a great useable bike. Great fun in fact which is what motorcycling is all about surely?
On this machine the paint on the frame is completely original as are the Tagasako date stamped wheel rims. Of course, the genuine mirrors carry the Suzuki emblem and even the cables are the ones that the bike left the factory with.
I rode the bike for a while in a spirited fashion and then killed it. That’s right, the crank seals went. So we took the motor apart and had the crank rebuilt by Grampian. We put it all back together and run it in and have done a few hundred miles on it again.
It’s so much fun and it’s exactly what Motorcycle is all about. The bike is lightweight easy to manage and goes just as well as a much more expensive RD 350 Yamaha.
Why am I selling it? Well, I’ve just bought myself a Kawasaki S3a 400 triple and I’m going to use that ride that for awhile instead.
It runs and rides great, is on the standard bores and I believe that the mileage shown of 23987 is about right – but that’s just my opinion.
